Centering Prayer developed in the 20th century based on the Christian contemplative prayer traditions of the Benedictine order, is practiced at All Saints twice a month. What's the form of this prayer? To sit in silence and listen to God. One's action in this prayer form is to consent to God's presence and action within us, inviting our minds to also be still and listen to God's voice within us. The prayer is clearly individual, yet when practiced as a group, is very supportive to our individual daily prayer practices.
We would be happy to have you join us! We meet in the Bride's Room (SW corner of the church) 1st and 3rd Wednesday mornings of each month from 11:00am to 12:30pm
