Marriage is one of two Sacraments of Vocation in the Catholic Church, along with Holy Orders.
In
marriage, spouses commit to life-long love and service of one another and to the possibility of the care and rearing of children. In marriage, spouses become for one another a primary experience of God's unconditional love and the most basic unit of faith, the domestic church.
All Saints parish hosts and performs the wedding ceremonies of active, registered members of the parish who have undergone adequate marriage preparation. Non parish members are also welcome, however, non members may require additional processes.
NOTE: Couples should obtain re-issued baptism certificates from their Church of Baptism at least one year to 6 months prior to the wedding date. The certificates must be submitted along with, the marriage application. To submit a marriage application or to get information about registering as a member of the parish, please contact the Church Office at (510) 581-2570.
NOTICE: All Saints cannot guarantee the availability of the Church for wedding dates that have already been set. If you are planning to have your wedding ceremony at All Saints, we advise that you do not make reception hall reservations until after the wedding date at All Saints has been confirmed.
